Position Summary

The person will work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders – both external and internal to the company – to research and elicit, analyze, validate and document business requirements, and to ensure that those requirements clearly reflect true business needs, correctly representing all stakeholders. Translates business needs into system/ application requirements and project components to help determine solutions to business problems. 

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a liaison between the client and technical solutions/ support groups, using advanced communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate client requirements.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of the client’s business and industry to develop requirements specifications.
  • Works closely with the Product Managers, Domain SME’s, clients, Scrum Masters, etc. to understand their needs/requirements, identify the key Business metrics to be impacted and define the expected ROI
  • Document User Stories and current and future Business Processes.
  • Enable collaboration between the Business stakeholders and the developers in multiple scrum teams
  • Document Acceptance Criteria, Business Requirements, Data Mapping documents, Data Modeling and translate into proper system requirements specifications using high-maturity methods, processes, and tools.
  • Develop visualization, user experience and configuration elements of solution design
  • Execute and coordinate requirements management and change management processes
  • Prioritize requirements using prioritization techniques
  • Facilitate client and end-user training
  • Support development, QA and UAT teams at various stages of the  projects

Knowledge and Skills

  • Must have 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst preferably in HR, Staffing or HR Tech domain.
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Must have worked in client-facing projects
  • Must have worked on Functional Requirement Documents, Business Requirement Documents, Business Process Documents, User Stories, Epic’s and Use Case Documents.
  • Negotiation, difficult conversation management, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills
  • Experience with Agile/Jira, SDLC methodologies and structured systems analysis and design
  • Should have had experience in working with Agile tools such as Pivotal Tracker, Version One or similar
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, e.g. product backlog refinement, planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
  • Ability to work closely with the offshore and onshore team to ensure the accurate transfer and comprehension of all critical information relating to each requirement and changes
  • Flexibility to handle multiple complex projects and changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Act as subject matter expert on the various domains

Additional Requirements

  • Should be a fast learner and a self-starter, open to learning new tools & techniques
  • Must possess excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills (both verbal & written)
  • Knowledge of techniques such as business and management accounting principles,   analysis, SWOT analysis

Education: Bachelors or equivalent experience
